Refunds/exchanges

Deposit refund, Tickets or deposits cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase or being placed unless the performance is cancelled altogether or rescheduled to a different day only (NOT including a change of start and finishing times, and subject to below) or where there is a 'material change' to the programme of Event. A 'material change' is a change which, in Our reasonable opinion only, makes the Event materially different to the Event that purchasers of the Ticket, taken generally, could reasonably expect (NOT including a change of start and finishing times). The use of 'understudies' in a performance shall not be a material change or a slight change to the menu options.

Once tickets has been purchased or Deposits paid; Under no circumstances will We refund the ticket price or deposits for ticket purchasers if You can no longer attend the event regardless of the excuse, a circumstance beyond your control, unfortunate illness or You've simply changed Your mind.

Where such a refund is required; You must notify us by email of your intentions that you require a refund as soon as you are aware of such material change, cancellation or where the Event has been rescheduled, prior to the rescheduled Event. After the rescheduled date your current ticket will be classed as a normal sale and will not be entitled to a refund.

The refund for Tickets will equal the face value of the Tickets purchased only, excluding any booking fee. In order to claim Your refund, please apply in writing to NAPTG, PO Box 47628, London SE4 1QR enclosing Your complete unused Tickets, if received, within 7 days from the date of the Event.  Once the tickets has been received by Us; We will make payment immediately. If you have placed a deposit or purchased your tickets online and have not received your tickets, please apply in writing to the address above quoting your name, address and booking reference number.

Refunds shall only be made to the person who purchased the Tickets and, when possible, be made using the same method as was used to purchase the Tickets except, at Our discretion, where payment was made by cash or cheque.

WHY ARE DEPOSITS ESSENTIAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE?

Deposits in the hospitality industry usually varies and depending on duration, hotels requests, contracts, deadlines and conditions.

When we organise a particular event, financial deposits are so necessary:

(a) We have to reserve and secure the venue, your room if using a hotel.
(b) We have to do the same with the dinner spaces to ensure we have the correct amount of people ordering ingredients which has to be ordered in advance.
(c) We have to pay in advance for the venue, your room, your meal etc, usually weeks or months prior to the event or your arrival. This also shows our commitment to the venue or hotels and keeping with the terms and conditions outlined in the contract.

If You purchased Your ticket from one of the outlets or one of our DJs, please return the tickets to the address above but You must notify us of Your intentions as set out above.

These Terms and Conditions do not and shall not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. For further information about your statutory rights contact Citizens Advice, Consumer Direct (http://www.consumerdirect.gov.uk) or the Department for Business Innovation and Skills.

CORONAVIRUS:

If you believe you have developed Covid symptoms within the space of 7 days before an event, please take a PCR test (not a lateral flow test), if you test positive, please stay at home, self-isolate and do not attend the event!

IF AN EVENT DOES NOT TAKE PLACE AND IS CANCELLED DUE TO GOVERNMENT GUIDELINES ONLY, PLEASE DO NOT WORRY, EVERYONE WILL RECEIVE A REFUND.

PLEASE NOTE; WE KINDLY ASK TO BE PATIENT WITH US, DEPENDING ON THE SIZE OF THE EVENT, REFUNDS CAN TAKE UP TO 2 WEEKS TO BE PROCESSED AND WILL BE IN ORDER OF EARLY DATE PURCHASE FIRST. WE PAY THE VENUE IN ADVANCE AND NAPTG WILL HAVE WAIT UNTIL THE VENUE REFUNDS US.

IF THE EVENT GOES AHEAD BUT WITH RESTRICTIONS IN PLACE LIKE MASK WEARING ON ENTRY, HAVING TO SHOW A NEGATIVE LATERAL FLOW TEST RESULT BEFORE ENTERING, THIS IS NOT CLASSED AS A CANCELLED EVENT. IF YOU DECIDE NOT TO ATTEND THE EVENT OR ARRIVE LATE, YOU WILL NOT BE REFUNDED UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES.

Due to the nature of contracts signed between the venue and NAPTG, unfortunately we will not be able refund any money you have paid to purchase the tickets or any expenditure incurred in order to attend the event if you develop Covid.

Liability

Personal arrangements including travel, accommodation or hospitality relating to the Event which have been arranged by You are at your own risk. Liability for the cancellation or rescheduling of an Event to a different day, or for material changes to an Event, will be limited to the refund as set forth above and to the face value of the ticket price.

Neither We nor the Venue nor the Promoter will be responsible for any loss, theft or damage of Your personal belongings, other than caused as a result of Our proven negligence or that of the Venue or the Promoter or other breach of statutory duty.

Cancelled/re-scheduled Events

It is Your responsibility to ascertain whether an Event has been cancelled altogether or re-scheduled to a different day by either phone call or by email to us.

Where an Event is cancelled altogether or re-scheduled to a different day (not including a change of start and finishing times), We will use Our reasonable endeavours to notify You using the details You provided Us with, at the time of ordering. We do not guarantee that You will be informed of such cancellation before the date of the Event.

It is Your responsibility to inform Us of any change to your contact details.
