New Years Eve with Need A Place To Go

Terms of Business

    Reservation

        All offers are subject to availability.

        All room reservations should be made by email and then the appropriate deposit or full payment.

        All verbal bookings will be treated as provisional and will be held for a maximum of 7 days pending receipt of written confirmation and the appropriate deposit made.

     Payment

        Deposits and pre-payment are required for all accommodation and dinner packages for the New Years Eve Ball event.

        When booking an Accommodation Package, a non-refundable deposit of £50.00 per person x 2 is required on booking a bedroom.      

        Package Two includes everything stated in Package One on New Years Eve only. Breakfast will be provided on New Years Day (1st) and on the morning of the 2nd January: Need A Place To Go is under no obligation to provide food and beverages on New Years Day and the 2nd January unless stated as part of the package.

        The balance of payment must be made by the 4th December.

        When purchasing any ticket category after 2nd December, full payment is required.

        All additional charges incurred during your stay must be settled with 'The Hotel' prior to departure. At least one credit/debit card per party is required upon arrival when checking in at the Hotel which is left as a guarantee for the duration of your stay.

        Dance only tickets must be paid in full at time of purchase

    Cancellations

        Bookings for Packages 1 and 2 not paid in full by 4th December will be deem to have been cancelled and Need A Place To Go will retain any monies paid.

        Monies for non or late arrivals are forfeited and cannot be transferred to cover overnight accommodation for other members of the party or other nights at the hotel.

        Once tickets are paid in full, under NO circumstances will there be any refunds as a result of cancellation or decreases in the number of guests attending, late arrival or non-attendance regardless of the excuse.

WHY ARE DEPOSITS ESSENTIAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE?
Deposits in the hospitality industry usually varies and depending on duration, hotels requests, contracts, deadlines and conditions.

When we organise our New Year's Eve event, financial deposits are so necessary:
(a) We have to reserve and secure your room with the hotel using the name you booked with. 
(b) We have to do the same with the dinner spaces to ensure we have the correct amount of people ordering ingredients which has to be ordered in advance. 
(c) We have paid in advance for your room and meal a minimum of three weeks prior to your arrival. This also shows our commitment to the hotels and keeping with the terms and conditions outlined in the contract.

CORONAVIRUS:

If you believe you have developed Covid symptoms within the space of 7 days before the event, please take a PCR test (not lateral flow test), if you test positive, please stay at home, self-isolate and do not attend the event!

IF THE EVENT DOES NOT TAKE PLACE AND IS CANCELLED DUE TO GOVERNMENT GUIDELINES ONLY, PLEASE DO NOT WORRY, EVERYONE WILL RECEIVE A REFUND. 

PLEASE NOTE; WE KINDLY ASK TO BE PATIENT WITH US, REFUNDS CAN TAKE UP TO 2 WEEKS TO BE PROCESSED AND WILL BE IN ORDER OF EARLY DATE PURCHASE FIRST. MONIES FOR THE BEDROOMS AND THE DINNER TICKETS ARE ALL PAID DIRECTLY TO THE HOTEL AND WE 'NAPTG' WILL HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE HOTEL TO REFUND US.

IF THE EVENT GOES AHEAD BUT WITH RESTRICTIONS IN PLACE, YOU WILL HAVE TO SHOW A NEGATIVE LATERAL FLOW TEST RESULT TAKEN BEFORE ARRIVING WITHIN 48 HRS OF THE EVENT OR A COVID PASS.

THIS IS NOT CLASSED AS A CANCELLED EVENT. IF YOU DECIDE NOT TO ATTEND THE EVENT OR FAIL TO TURN UP, YOU WILL NOT BE REFUNDED UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES.

Due to the nature of the contract and discussions between the hotel and NAPTG, unfortunately we will not be able to refund any monies you have paid to purchase the tickets or any expenditure incurred in order to attend the event if you develop or test positive for Covid. 

      Children

        Children over the age of 16 years are classified as adults.

        Children between 2 - 15 years attending the Dinner or the Dance are charged at 50% of the adult price and under 3's are charged a cover charge of £10.00 if attending the Dinner. Proof of age will be required at the point when deposit or full payment is made.

        Please ensure that children refrain from running and playing in all communal areas so that we do not disturb other guests.

        Parents/Gaurdians are fully responsible for all children attending.

     Occupancy

        All guests registering must be 18 years of age and must present identification upon check-in. An adult aged over 18 must accompany all children.

        Check in time is 3pm; Check out time is 11am unless stated otherwise.

        Generally, one or two persons may occupy a room with one double bed or 2 single beds (TWIN). If you have purchased a bedroom for THREE persons, unless stated otherwise, the bedroom will have 1 double bed and 1 single bed. If your party consists of Four or more, an additional room or rooms must be rented to accommodate the additional people, unless stated otherwise.

        An infant may be added to the total number of persons permitted in rooms, provided that the General Manager of the Hotel has a portable crib/cot available, which is adequate for the weight of the infant.

     General Information

        Need A Place To Go reserves the right to amend its packages and prices at any time before booking.

        Bookings are subject to availability and prices quoted at the time of booking.

        All prices are inclusive of VAT at 15%. If the general rate of VAT is altered, our prices will be modified accordingly.

        Gratuities are at the guest's discretion.

        Need A Place To Go reserves the right to alter or amend the contents of an event or to cancel an event for any reason, for example if there is a shortfall in the minimum numbers required to operate an event. In such circumstances a full refund of the money paid to Need A Place To Go will be made.

        Menus shown on the Need A Place To Go website and/or in other leaflets relating to this events are only to provide an indication of the dishes likely to be featured. Need A Place To Go reserves the right to amend such dishes and/or to offer suitable alternatives.

        All events and timings are subject to approval by the local licensing authorities. All statutory licensing regulations apply.

        Food and drinks from guest rooms are strictly prohibited from being brought into any of the party and dance areas.  Only drinks purchased from the hotel bar may be consumed in the dinner, dance and party areas.

        In the interests of health and safety, in the event of any spillage of food or drinks on the dance floor, guests are to inform any member of the hotel staff immediately.

        Other than for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, our liability to you and your guests taken in the aggregate, is limited to the price of your booking.

        Need A Place To Go will not be liable to you for failure to perform to the extent that the failure is caused by any factor beyond its reasonable control.

        Need A Place To Go will not be liable for any damage caused by you or any of your party.

        You are responsible for all of your belongings. Need A Place To Go will not be liable for any theft taken place in your room or any part of the dinner, party and dance areas.

        Please address any comments in writing to the Managing Director, Need A Place To Go within 7 days of the event.
