SOUL MAMA is a beautiful brand new live music venue and restaurant located on the ground floor of The Gantry by Hilton Hotel at The Olympic Village (East) in Stratford.

Soul Mama was first opened in September 2024 and the brainchilds for the concept are musician, broadcaster, author and philanthropist, YolanDa Brown OBE DL, and music manager, creative entrepreneur Adetokunbo “T” Oyelola. ​

Through a successful crowdfunding campaign, they made history, breaking records not just in the UK but globally for the largest amount raised by a restaurant on the Kickstarter platform and as a result becoming Guinness World Records Holders.

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Soul Mama is open as a restaurant serving delicious mix of African, Caribbean and South American cuisine. Soul Mama was listed in the 'Top restaurants to look forward to in 2024 list' by the Evening Standard.

Executive Chef Aleandro Brown at Soul Mama brings a wealth of experience and a fresh, creative vision to the kitchen.

Born in St. Ann's Bay, Jamaica, he learned the art of cooking from his grandmother. She instilled in him a deep appreciation for Caribbean flavours and traditions. His passion for cooking and his innovative approach have led him on an impressive career path, marked by a series of prestigious culinary appointments working with the likes of the Savoy, Maze, Royal Hospital Road, and London House restaurants. He became a key member of the team at The Ritz London, contributing to the restaurant's achievement of its first Michelin Star. He was with Helen Darroze at The Connaught, Sketch London and Soho Farmhouse.

From Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, come and hear some fantanstic singers and musicians each evening at this wonderful LIVE MUSIC VENUE & RESTAURANT featuring artists from all over the globe.

You can see artists from different genres of music like Soul, Jazz, RnB, Gospel, Reggae, Afrobeats, House and many more.

Some of the performers that have and will be performining live are Etana, Mica Paris, Avery Sunshine, Yellow Jackets, Omar, Oli Silk, Katherine Jenkins, Imaani and many more.
